Our firm took part in the Chain Matrix trial - it was a complete flop and I can't see it working this time either. That said, the idea of Pre-Contracts might work. With a bit of co-operation perhaps we can make English conveyancing more like just about every other country (Scotland, Australia, etc) and eliminate all this Gazumping.
