Just had this statement forwarded on to us...
Dear Colleagues,
Steve Buege has decided that now is a good time to step down as CEO of Elite and pursue other career opportunities. Steve has played an important role at Thomson Reuters in several leadership positions and, in particular, in supporting the development, launch and customer implementation of the Elite 3E platform. Much of the transformation at the Elite business that he came to accomplish has been completed, or is well underway, and the business is positioned to grow, making it a logical time for him to transition.
Kim Massana, Elite senior vice president and general manager, will serve as president while an external search is conducted for this role.
We would like to thank Steve for his contributions to the business and wish him well.
More news when we get it.

All change? - it's one person. Who's role is being taken by someone most expected to take over when TR did their musical chairs anyway.

A London law firm IT director mentioned to me that during the recession they'd asked all their IT vendors if they could offer some kind of hardship deal/reduced terms for the duration of the hard times. Every single supplier said yes - except Elite who increased their prices by 10%. What's that saying about you shouldn't trample on people while you're going up the ladder in case you encounter them on the way back down again? ...CC
